Team Goal Ideas

All expeditions should be planned around a good Team Goal! You should also think about how your group intend to present this when you return from expedition. A good Team Goal will make your trip more meaningful, less about hiking and more about discovery.

The following are ideas. You can pick one of these or if you have a Team Goal that is unique and different please run it past your school DofE leaders or Hillgoers.

Ideas

  • Are you working on a project at school that could be investigated further on expedition?

  • The effects of glaciation on the landscape encountered on our team’s route.

  • Monitor the level of litter on our route. Then develop a strategy or campaign to help solve the problem.

  • Investigate the changes in local land use in the last 100 years.
