Guided Walks

From their base in Royal Deeside, Hillgoers’ mountain leaders offer expertly guided walks across numerous Munros, Corbetts and other smaller, yet nonetheless impressive, hills.

Many of the summits can be scaled within a few hours. If you’re feeling fit, it’s also possible to tackle some of the other surrounding hill walks on the same day! Or you can extend your adventure by camping out under the stars.

See Hillgoers' event calendar for information on pre-arranged guided hill walks, or contact the team to book a bespoke hill walking adventure. Walks can last from a few hours to multi-day. For what you’ll need to bring, visit our FAQ page

Wildlife Walks

Wildlife Walks

Scotland boasts an abundance of wildlife, including red deer, mountain hare, ptarmigan and eagles, which are best observed in their natural habitat, be it atop a hill or mountain, or in the glens.

Hillgoers’ mountain leaders possess expert knowledge of where to find, and safely enjoy, this wildlife, and the unparalleled scenery, on one of the many available wildlife walks.

It's highly recommended that you take a camera; tuition can be provided, although many of the best snaps have been taken on our phones!

Check out Hillgoers' event calendar for information on pre-arranged guided wildlife walks, or contact the team to book a bespoke adventure. Walks can last from a few hours to multi-day.  For what you’ll need to bring, visit our FAQ page.

Hillgoers’ mountain leaders offer diverse walking opportunities across Scotland.

Our wilderness walks allow you to experience the country's wilder side, which is not always located atop a hill! Indeed, there are swathes of lower lying land, complete with fascinating geology, flowers, wildlife and (literally) breathtaking scenery, to explore.

Hill Fishing

Hill Fishing

Scotland is home to a number of stunning hill lochs, many of which are located in remote, hard to reach places. Fishing these lochs can be a magical experience, often shared only with the red deer and soaring eagles.

Hillgoers’ mountain leaders can safely guide you to these extraordinary places and help you set up for a great day’s fishing. Relevant permits and permissions from Estates, for example, can be arranged, and trips can be extended with walks between lochs and/or overnight camping. For what you’ll need to bring, visit our FAQ page.

Contact Hillgoers to book a bespoke hill fishing adventure.
