What we offer
We’ll provide a qualified and experienced Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor for the day, or multiple days. We can give recommendations based on experience levels, specific objectives, and personal interests. Popular examples include:

Location
We focus on the crags and mountains around Aberdeenshire although we can go further on request. Popular locations include:
The sea cliffs around Aberdeen.
Inland crags like those at Ballater.
Cairngorm mountain scrambles or climbs e.g. Eagle Ridge on Lochnagar or Squareface on Beinn a Bhuird.

Joining details, participation forms and kit lists will be sent out the week before the walk.
Equipment Shop
Please have a look in our shop, we can post or deliver items to you at the event. All participants receive a 15% discount on goods (except gift vouchers, sale items and books).

Experienced - we choose guides with both mountain experience but also life experience. We have a wide selection of guides from all walks of life from ex-military to members of Mountain Rescue to qualified doctors.
Professional - all of our guides are fully qualified holding the relevant qualification for the activity and season - Summer Mountain Leader, Winter Mountain Leader, Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor and more.
First aid qualified - all guides hold at least an Outdoor First Aid Certificate.
Appropriately sized groups – our maximum ratio for rock climbing is 1 instructor to 2 clients.
Emergency contact - when running an event we always have someone at our ‘Base Camp’ in case of an emergency.
Group emergency kit - your guide will carry at least a group shelter and group first aid.
Excellent customer service - we pride ourselves on a common sense approach to cancellation.
We’re all fully qualified, insured and members of the Mountain Training Association meaning our skills are kept up to date. We are also holders of Adventure Activities License, inspected by the UK Health and Safety Executive.
