Via Càrn Mòr Dearg

Start Time: 07:30 for 07:45 start.

Location: Meet at the North Face car park.

Walk Grading: Level 4 walk. Find out more about our walk grading here.

Terrain: The arete is an easy but long scramble and the terrain boggy and pathless in places.

Requirements: This walk requires a good level of fitness and a head for heights.

Join us for a guided walk of Ben Nevis

This walk has a bit of everything: views of the grandest array of cliffs of any Scottish mountain, an airy scramble across the Cart Mor Dearg arete and a 360 degree panorama from the summit as far as Rum and Skye. This route avoids the crowds on the main path, allows for an ascent of two Munros, and takes you on an adventure around the highest mountain in the UK.
