Join us for a guided walk of The Correen Hills
If you’re looking to blow away the winter cobwebs or are wanting a more relaxed day, then this is the walk for you!
The Correen Hills, a few kilometres northwest of Alford, are lesser known than some of their neighbours but offer an excellent circuit through forest and open heather moorland. The views of Donside and Strathbogie, especially from Lord Arthurs Hill, are outstanding. We’ll explore a little of the local history, including a 19th Century quarry on the hillside, and if time allows we’ll pop into Alford for a coffee and a cake afterwards!
