Christmas Walk with Hillgoers
🎄 Hillgoers Christmas Walk – Mither Tap 🎄
Join us for a festive stroll before Christmas! It’s the perfect chance to stretch the legs, enjoy some fresh winter air, and catch up with fellow Hillgoers before the holidays.
This walk is free for all our previous customers, but spaces are limited due to parking and access — so please book early if you’d like to come along. Please book via the pop up!
Instead of a fee, we kindly ask that you make a donation of your choosing to either your local Mountain Rescue Team or the Bennachie Centre Trust. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
We’ll provide hot drinks (bring your favourite mug!) and festive mince pies to keep spirits high.
Depending on conditions, we’ll aim to walk up to the summit of Mither Tap via Heather Brig, a lovely 7km route with around 415m of ascent. The alternative will follow the trails lower down.
Come along, celebrate the season, and enjoy a festive day out on the hill with some of the Hillgoers team!

Additional information
As this is a free event we will not be asking for participant forms prior to the day. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should come prepared for the weather conditions (extra Christmas jumper if required…). You can choose to extend the walk at your own risk.
Meeting Place
Meet at Bennachie Visitor Centre at 10am. We should be done by 1-2pm.
