Ben Lawers Weekend
A weekend of 7 Munros in the Ben Lawers Nature Reserve!
Start Time and Location: We’ll be in touch closer to the time with the exact logistics as we’ll need a couple of vehicles at the end point on Day 1.
Day 1: Those who aren’t parking at the end will be meeting at the Ben Lawers Car Park at 08.15 for an 08.30 start. Day 2: We’ll all meet at the Ben Lawers Car Park at 08.15. We'll take as few cars as possible from here to our start point as parking is very limited.

Terrain: Day 1: Terrain will be rocky in places with a short scramble required coming off An Stuc, this can be bypassed if needed. Day 2: The path isn’t well defined in places and can be boggy.
Requirements: Some hill walking experience on higher hills like Scottish Munros (above 3,000ft) is required.

Join us for a guided weekend walk
This is a fantastic place with something for everyone. The area is a National Nature Reserve, famous for its rich arctic alpine flora. Combine this with some fantastic ridge walking, and views over Loch Tay and the surrounding hills, means this is not one to miss out!
On the first day we tackle the 5 Munros overlooking Loch Tay on an A to B walk. They’re usually climbed on two separate outings but don’t worry, it’s not a marathon day, the normal route for the final three is only 200m less ascent than our traverse of all 5! We start by heading up Ben Lawers via Beinn Ghlas and once at the summit of Sir Hugh Munro’s first recorded Munro, we carry on north east across the ridge to take in the magnificent An Stuc, and finish on Meall Garbh and Meall Greigh before descending towards the Ben Lawers Hotel.
The second day, starting at 550m, will be a more relaxed affair where we’ll take in Meall Corranaich and Meall a’ Choire Leith. These hills offer fine views of the ridge from the previous day and into Glen Lyon to the north.
For those of you staying over on the Friday and/or the Saturday night there’s plenty of options for accommodation both east and west of Loch Tay.
