Location: Glenshee, meet at the lay-by off A93.

Terrain: The terrain underfoot is mainly good, with stalkers tracks and paths for most of the day.
Requirements: Suitable for beginner Munro walkers. A good level of hill fitness is required.

Join us for a guided walk of An Socach
An Socach is a prominent landmark as you drive south out of Braemar over the Old Military Road. Sitting high above Glen Ey its summit lies to the west of a broad ridge running for 2km along its top. It offers a scenic ridge traverse with excellent views of the Glen Shee hills and into the main Cairngorms massif.
