Am Faochagach
A rounded Munro with excellent views of Beinn Dearg, Ben Wyvis, and the Fannichs
Start Time: 08:15 for 08:30 start.
Location: Meet at the A835 layby (beside Torran Dhu Bridge, just west of Loch Glascarnochon).
Walk Grading: This is a level 4 walk. Find out more about our walk grading here.
Terrain: Includes a river crossing and a section of boggy ground.
Requirements: Experience walking on higher hills (like Scottish Munros) required.

Join us for a guided walk of Am Faochagach
Join us for a guided hike to complete the Beinn Dearg Munro group (see Saturday and Sunday's walks).
Am Faochagach is a relatively short hike but presents a good challenge, featuring a river crossing and some boggy terrain. Once on the ridge, the walk becomes more enjoyable with a gradual incline leading to the summit. From there, you'll hopefully be treated to superb views of the surrounding Munros.
