Join us in walking the highest mountain in the Cairngorms
Ben Macdui is the highest mountain in the Cairngorms and the second highest in Scotland, after Ben Nevis. This is a magnificent hill walk; on clear days, the views are superb. Ptarmigan and snow buntings are often seen in the area, and perhaps, if you are lucky, you will bump into the local reindeer herd! This guided walk will start from the Linn o’ Dee car park and may include a hike over Munro Derry Cairngorm on the return, depending on weather conditions. You will also visit the beautiful Loch Etchachan on the way back down.
Munros
Ben Macdui - 1309m
