Your clients will be given priority and VIP access to Balmoral Castle and be expertly guided on a 4-7km walk through the beautiful Caledonian Pine Forest to discover the Royal Cairns and find out the story behind them.

Mar Lodge Estate - Nature and History
Your clients will join us for a walk through the regenerating Caledonian Pine forest. They will visit the Mar Lodge and find out about the Cairngorms National Park. They will also visit the Punchbowl, the location of the Jacobite Rising in 1715 and hear stories of the era.

About us
Hillgoers are a Scottish outdoor experience provider based in Royal Deeside, offering a variety of activities. We specialise in guided walks and dark sky/stargazing events for the travel trade. We can also offer small outdoor weddings with our sister company, Wild Scottish Weddings!
Operating all year round, we deliver high-quality tailor-made experiences for individuals or small groups. With our team of 20 guides, we can take clients all over Scotland and can also include transport.
We are ideally placed for the Cairngorms National Park, only a 45-minute drive from Aberdeen International Airport. We work closely with local Estate owners, including Balmoral and Mar Lodge Estate (National Nature Reserve, just outside Braemar) on conservation projects that are intrinsically linked to climate change prevention and biodiversity improvements. These strong connections allow us to offer exclusive insights and access to these beautiful locations.
Our guided walks are suitable for all abilities and can range from 4-20+km (2-10+hours), covering everything from coastal walks to mountain-level, allowing clients to discover the beauty of nature within.
